Perimenopause OR Menopausal Transition

They both mean the same thing, but which do you guys identify more with?

I've been noticing the use of Menopausal Transition to describe perimenopause in some reading, research and professional developments I've done lately. 

Might sound very low on the scale of importance, but I'm wondering which term you prefer, and why?
