Painful periods during perimenopause are a definite sign that all is not well. They are cause for concern because not only are you worried about why you feel anywhere from just mildly annoyed at the discomfort to painfully crippled and can’t get out of bed, but you’re also worried about what the cause of the pain is.
If you have even just a little headspace to think about what is causing the pain, your mind can go all sorts of places, which isn’t helpful.
